Megan, Long Stratton High

Wolf Hollow

I really enjoyed this book. It had a great plot with fascinating characters. Annabelle, the main character, was very adventurous and in some ways quite nosy. Toby was a very curious character who was quite quiet and solitary. His pictures showed a more adventurous side to him. His willingness to help Betty even though he was supposed to have killed her was very angelic and sweet.

The story showed a different side to World War Two that isn't seen very much in books. The fact that it wasn't on the front lines or based directly on World War Two made it enjoyable. It showed a different way of showing the events in history without too much detail on the war efforts. This was a very unique book that I thoroughly enjoyed.
