Hattie, King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls
Wolf Hollow had a very touching story but was a bit disappointing. It did have some very good aspects and shows how the the Atticus Finch (You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view […] until you climb into his skin and walk around in it) way of looking at things is a very good trait to have and it showed beautifully what it feels like to ‘grow up’. Despite these I felt as though the ending was rushed and left me wanting more - for the sake of knowing the whole story. At first glance,I was expecting to enjoy this book, and I did at first as the voice of Annabelle was very well written and it started off quite well, but it left me wishing for something more thoughtful and less rushed, as that is what it felt like.
