Salt to the Sea

My thoughts on the perfectly executed book Salt to the Sea. Is that the book was clearly thought out before written the book was historical fiction which I think some authors fail to complete to a high standard so I thought this book was done amazingly. I couldn’t ask for a better book. The book was greatly studied as you can tell the author had done her research on the historical tragedy however what she did that really stood out was that she captured the moment from 4 different completely unique perspectives of these teenagers. In the book, the emotion for each person has guilt and
fate. The book has effective use of metaphors all over the book which I loved. This book was full of excitement and passion it kind of reminded me of the smell of other people’s houses and share a lot of similarities. I thought they were both done to high standard. Overall the book was thrilling and beautiful and I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The book was based on a true event but fictionalised by
the author which is why I would recommend and rate it a 4 out of 5
