Amelia, Radnor House
This was my first read of Carnegie Shadowing 2017, and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, the blurb gave away a big spoiler which only occurs in the book half way through. Other than that disappointment, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Betty is a city girl, and when she moves to the country, Annabelle's quiet world is destroyed.
Betty terrorizes her, and when Ruth gets hit in the eye, things begin to get serious. This book is a mystery novel, and Annabelle soon finds out that Betty is to blame. When Betty dies, I thought that it really added to the ending of the book however I thought it was incredibly unfair that Toby had to die. This book has lots of emotion and I really enjoyed it.
