The Smell of Other People's Houses
The Smell of Other People's Houses is a novel based on the life of four teenagers; four teenagers experiencing very different dilemmas. Each one of them having distinctive aims. The story tells us how their lives become interestingly intertwined.
I found myself comparing my teenage life to theirs in the 70s. This book reveals moral messages; it tells us to pursue our dreams and to always tell the truth. Although this book was short, it portrayed a lot. It made me cry, laugh and smile. It left me with mixed emotions.
A book I truly recommend to all.
