Felicity, Ipswich School

Salt to the Sea

I thought that this book was an amazing wartime novel. The effects on the characters were realistic and I became emotianally attached to many of them. I feel that the character of Alfred let the book down, but his character was useful to the storyline. I did like how there was a character written, who was not the perfect person, and was vain and shallow. I would give it 10/10!
