The Smell of Other People's Houses
WARNING: This book is VERY slow to start, with half the book being working on each of the four main characters stories. A little bit of introduction is fine, perhaps a few chapters, but not for most of the novel. I am one for fantasy/sci-fi, and this sort of 'emotional' book is not the one for me. Also, it mentions four characters in the blurb, Ruth, Dora, Alyce and Hank, claiming that their four tales would intertwine, when they didn't. The closest the book comes to them intertwining is them meeting at the end, however not all of them actually communicated, and Hank only connected to Alyce. It would be more suitable for it to be a collection of short stories, like how the author originally intended, instead of saying that they will all intertwine.
