The Bone Sparrow

This is definitely one of the times the saying don't judge a book by it's cover would fit in. At first I didn't think I would enjoy it but the plot just sucked me and I couldn't put the book down. The main idea is to explain about the conditions refugees face in their camps. The characters just seem so real their actions add to this, especially Eli, Queeny, Jimmie and of course Subhi, the first person to be born in the refugee camp. Altogether this is a sad but heartwarming read. I would give it 9/10
