There is a Tribe of Kids
I think that 'There was a Tribe of Kids' is a really heartwarming and emotional book. It has no obvious story line, but the pictures have everything to tell you what happens. This book really made me think; is the child in the story a boy or a girl? Is a 'smack of jellyfish' a real phrase? Does the child actually go through this - or is this just a metaphor? Some things, only the author knows. I love the way the pictures always connect to the previous and next event and I think the author really thought about it. It is such a memorable story. It also addresses many universal human rights and it shows the right to be free. This book has a very important meaning to it: 'Where do you belong?' I think the book shows that you shouldn't desperately try to fit in and be the same as everyone else; let the others fit in with you. You are unique and if you follow your heart, you will find home - where you really belong. I think this book could win. The words themselves are enough to make you want to read this book.
