Beyond the Bright Sea

Beyond the Bright Sea is a book about a girl, who is named Crow, who was put in a boat and floated off to sea by her parents that she has never known. She is found by a father figure, that she calls Osh, and grows up with him and a mother figure called Miss Maggie. Personally, I don't like the book as it is difficult to get into and connect with the characters, especially Crow. However, I do like the cover of the book but that is about it. I also don't like how the title comes into the book as it doesn't, in my mind, play as significant part as other options could have. To conclude I think that the author got this book wrong but the publishers got it right.
