Saint Death

Saint Death was a well written book with a well structured plot and mostly believable characters in my opinion. Despite some of the actions being described throughout the story were questionable and unrealistic, the book very clearly summarized life on the border of Mexico the USA giving the reader a strong image of the suffering caused by the gangs and lack of protection.

I felt that the extra parts every two chapters (such as facts or questions) added extra emotion and understanding to the book as it informed the reader of the smaller parts of lives on the border which helped especially considering most could not relate to the story being told. The link between the beginning and the end left the book at a good ending and despite the unrealistic occurrences, the whole story was overall interesting and informing.

Overall I enjoyed reading Saint Death and would highly recommend it.
