Salt to the Sea
I found this book very interesting because it covered all perspectives from the war from a pregnant girl to a soldier and some parts of the war you never really hear about. The book started off very slow but as it went along I found it more enjoyable because I understood the characters. My favourite part was when Joanna and Florian found their true feelings for each other because this meant these characters were more relatable and that during war their love and compassion even in distressing times still came through. I think the saddest part was when Eva fell in the lake and drowned because she put others life before her own, which shows how much she cared for her group. I would definitely recommend this book to others because this book conveys that no matter what, during war and pain, love for others always come through.
