Emily, The John Mason Readers
After the Fire
Tense. Exciting and absolutely fantastic. After the fire tells a story about a girl called Moonbeam who for nearly her whole life lived in the Lords Legion ran by Father John, the man that claims to be God's messenger. This is all until the government arrived and a massive fight broke out resulting in a fire and many lives being lost. Ever since she had been living in George .W Municipal Center where she has daily sessions with Dr Hernadez and later on in the book Agent Carlyle who were trying to get her to talk about her horrid past for there investigation.
This book was one of the best I have ever read and I couldn't put it down! I loved the different characters and how it made you curious of what was going to happen next and think about why certain characters did certain things. I would hugely recommend this book to anyone from ages 11 and above as its excitement and tension makes it a brilliant read!
