Megan, Long Stratton High
I liked this book because of how unique it was. However, the book annoyed me because at points in it (l for example on pages 214-218) the dictator Red Rabbit uses the letter "R" even though, it clearly states that he "can't pronounce the letter "R". This is obviously not a typo as it happened multiple times, if you are going to make a rule you have to stick to it. Also, I didn't like the fact that most of the reviews said it is "riotously funny", I didn't find the book funny at any point.
I liked the character Fidge because she had lots of courage and ingenuity. All the characters had different personalities and brought something different to the story. They worked well together to complete the last line of the riddle.
Furthermore I liked the book because of its mystery and adventure - having to solve a mystery kept me engaged, although, I think it was aimed at much younger readers, maybe 7-10 years.
