Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth is the epitome of all things funny and all things weird.

I mean, yeah you've heard of dogs. And aliens and slightly depressed kids and light sabers. But, let me tell you, this book is the only place you will find an alien from outer space, who looks like a different breed of dog to each person (bar Prez) who has come to assist a slightly depressed boy save the world from certain doom. *and breathe*

The book starts off with the gloomy case of Prez who was sent into temporary care due to has grandpa being ill. I know...bleak, but it soon escalates into an explosion of excitement as Sputnik (or Mellows) is introduced with news of the Earth's near destruction.

Many people have said it is a book for younger readers but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It took me back to the time where books weren't meant for the purpose of school or study, but just for a laugh.

Seriously, this book is the funniest thing since... actually I don't think I've ever come across something as funny as this book! READ IT!
