Sam, St Bede's Inter-Church School
The Stars at Oktober Bend
Personally, I don't think this is a good book mainly because it had a boring plot which I can't get connected to and it is really slow (I'd say start but it never gets faster) throughout the whole book. Towards the end of the book, I started to like a few characters but it was just because of their description as opposed to their actual personality. In addition, I thought that some quite interesting things were very brief and hardly developed for example (SPOILER) why she is stuck being 12 or her dealings with the guy buying the fish hooks from them. (NO LONGER A SPOILER), overall I thought it could sue more plot development and generally to have everything more developed but at the same time not as much dragging on of events.
