Where the World Ends
Every Year Quill and a group of friends are sent to a remote sea stac to hunt for birds. However this year no one arrives to take them home. No one knows why they have been abandoned. Cold, starving and clinging to life, how will they survive?
The boys go to hunt birds all through every day. When they realise no one is coming to collect them, they feel the end of the world is near. They are freezing and with little food left they are soon to perish. Will they get rescued or will it be the end of the world?
I really enjoyed reading this book. The story really took hold of you from the beginning and was very immersive and captivating. The in-depth characters create a friendly atmosphere and help you understand the story. Overall this book is an exciting and heart-stopping read.
I would recommend it to boys from ages 12 to 16. I would rate this book 4 out of five.
