Janison, Queen Elizabeth's School
The Smell of Other People's Houses
This was my first Carnegie book, and it was worth it. It is about four teenagers and their stories. Like Salt to the Sea, it is set in different perspectives. It was quite difficult to understand at first due to the fact that it had different perspectives which meant it was a bit confusing, however it made sense later on. The story of this book is wonderful, I would like to say more about what happens, but I cannot reveal any spoilers! :) But who would I recommend it to? Someone who wants to try new reading material and want the book to be a good one! I would rate it 8/10!
