Jessica, The book of secrets

The Stars at Oktober Bend

This book is the best book of the Carnegie books I've read so far. It’s so emotional and amazing. At first it was so mysterious about how her brain got damaged and how Manny got to love her. It was such a coincidence how Manny and Alice met and how he was running to get away from his haunting nightmares and how Alice was writing her poems. Also I liked the fact that even when she had her brain damage she could write amazing poems.
