After the Fire
After the Fire is a well written book with some excellent language devices included. I love how Will Hill started the book really fast-paced with the word 'and' included a lot. This was to increase the pace and this method really gripped me.
Throughout the novel we felt sympathy towards Moonbeam and the other members of the Lord's Legion (bar Father John and kind of his Centurions), but overall I found the plot pointless and slightly tedious. All that happened was Moonbeam revealing her past to Doctor Hernandez and Agent Carlyle, with a few twists and turns along the way - such as things happening to Luke and the SSI group.
