Amy, Glossopdale School
I liked this book because it was a quick easy read. It is very quirky and humorous. However, I think this novel would be more appropriate for a primary school rather than a secondary school.
The book is about a 10 and a half year old girl called Fidge. After her 4 year old sister (Minnie) gets hit by a car, things start to get very strange as she is whisked off to the bizarre world of the Wimbley Woos and their dictator Wed Wabbit (all of which are her sister's toys).
I chose to read this book first because I was intrigued by the interesting title "Wed Wabbit". I soon find out that the reason the book is named this is because Wed Wabbit's owner (Minnie) can't pronounce her "R's" properly. I found this very unusual to other books which is why I like this book.
In conclusion, I will rate this book 3/5 stars because I think this book is aimed for younger children aged 8-11.
