Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
I liked the way that it comes from one persons view and how it is written in first person. However, the events in the book are extremely unrealistic. This book is about saving the world. Sputnik has one summer to find ten things worth seeing on earth, to put in his notebook, however theses things are not really worth seeing. They are things like a TV remote and stairlifts. Prez is a boy who lives in the tempary and is taken to a house for the summer, where he meets Sputnik. Prez never speaks. Sputnik is a Scottish boy that only Prez sees as a boy, everyone else sees him as a dog. I didn't really like this book because of how ridiculous the events are. However the language used in this book is very good. It is a good read for younger ages.
