Bea, Skinners' Kent Academy Shadowers
Salt to the Sea
Salt to the sea is an amazing book. It is represents the war and different views of it. The characters were very deep and all had their own story to tell but wanted to keep it hidden at the same time. I preferred the background characters such as the shoe poet and the wandering boy to the main characters as I felt like that in the overview they were just part of the group but really they had something more to do with the development of the characters. Overall I found this very emotional and I would give it 5/5.
