Airin, King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls

Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

This book is an interesting read, mainly because it was not what I expected. Even though the age group is for 8+, it could be a good read for anyone. The storyline is simple to understand and the author has set a pleasant mood for the book. Some of the characters may not be convincing, such as Sputnick's charachter, but otherwise, this books tackles serious issues like amnesia and translates it into a more easier version for children to understand. All of the characters act consistently throughout the story, and many of them are portrayed in a humorous way. There are many amusing scenes which the children and adults alike will enjoy, and some completely random, but you'll love it all the same. :)
