Beyond the Bright Sea

Beyond the Bright Sea was an amazing book and I enjoyed reading it very much. It was sad but happy at the same time and that made the book much better because there was a mix of emotions going through my mind as well as the characters' minds.
The book got better as it went along; the further I went into it, the harder it was to draw away from the book. The first few chapters were slow and it was hard to get into it but then they actually had a mini adventure and I became drawn to the book.
My favourite character was Miss Maggie because she always brought them food and was always kind to Crow and Osh even when no one else was. Miss Maggie was whoever you needed her to be and this stood out in the book as I got to the middle and end.
The ending of this book was fairly good but without giving too much away, I think that there could possibly be a sequel! Personally, I think this would finish the book properly with no questions outstanding. I think it would complete the story instead of wondering.. 'What happened to Osh and Crow?', 'Did Jason get half of the inheritance?' and, 'Did Crow give her share of inheritance away?'
It was an amazing book and I look forward to see if a sequel is to finish Crow's story.
