Elizabeth, Sacred Heart Shadowers
The Stars at Oktober Bend
This book is a beautiful collection of feelings and poetry and written in varying perspectives that show the experiences of two complex and individual characters. Alice and Manny both have very interesting and well developed histories, not full revealed until you are engrossed into the book. The lack of punctuation and capital letters did not bother me because it was a specific part of the character's writing style and made it easy to distinguish between the two perspectives. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy themes of family, relationships mixed with some drama and exciting events.
