Emily, The Second Chapter
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
This book is beautiful, Jim Kay really did an amazing job at illustrating this magical book. When I first heard that the Philosopher's Stone was being turned into a picture book I thought that the pictures would never live up to the fantastic description that J.K Rowling puts into her books. However I was mistaken. The colours melted together to create the ghosts of the all famous houses -Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. The pictures of the faces of the villains will haunt your mind, while the animals and famous places will fill you with amazement. I completely recommend this book to anyone whether you are a muggle or a wizard.
