Wolf Hollow is a fluidly written book and is narrated by 12 year old Annabelle, who was living in her perfect world until a 14 year old bully, Betty Glengarry, arrives from the city. When Betty goes missing, Annabelle is unsure what to do but goes with what she believes in and knows is true.
I found Wolf Hollow an enjoyable read but felt that throughout the book I never really got to know the characters very well. By the end of the book I got the measure of Toby better because the author actually described him, but then he was gone which I didn't really understand why. I liked the rest of the plot a lot but never felt like I really connected with Annabelle.
Overall I did really like reading this book, but I'm unsure if the title really suits the story going on in Wolf Hollow. I'm not a big fan of the ending either but I don't feel it spoils the book. I would recommend this book though to anyone who likes slow paced stories with twists.
