Neeva, Loreto College

The Stars at Oktober Bend

This book is about a girl with a secret and boy from a torn background. They both find themselves bumping into each other.
I really liked this book although I found it quite slow at the beginning, it starts to pick up a few chapters in.One thing annoyed me about this book is that there isn't any capital letters.
My favourite thing is that it can teach you not to judge a book by its cover. I like how she had a secret that you gradually find out more and more throughout the book. It shows the perspective of someone whom you may be quick to judge.
I would recommend this book to others.4****
