Under the Same Sky
I love the pictures as it has a very deep meaning to it. Even though the colours are dark and grey the book has a positive message possibly displaying that even though the world seems dark we are all the same looking up at the same sky. My favourite is the "where the hills touch the sky" as the rushing antelopes are in great scenery.
The author uses cut-outs to make it interactive with the targeted audience and shows how everything is related.
They are all looking up, being hopeful and being related despite being far apart.
Wherever are we are, whoever we are we are all the same and should be treated the same.
All the animals are looking about as if looking out for each other. I enjoyed this book very much as I felt the images and the writing had a very deep and clear meaning despite it being aimed at 3 year old, I feel everyone can learn a message from it.
