Gertrude, Sir Harry Smith Community College

Wed Wabbit

When given the book Wed Wabbit I was quite disappointed because I believed it would be boring and way too young for me to enjoy it, however after giving the book a chance (quite reluctantly) I actually found that it was quite enjoyable. Despite being targeted for younger readers I didn't mind finishing the book. The story wasn't my favorite however I think if I was younger I would really enjoy this book. But the writing was good and the story flowed together. I even think that if I had a better sense of humour I might have laughed once or twice .The only thing I really didn't like was the rhyming but they seem to have the king feel the same way as I did which helped the book to appeal to some of the older readers. I would recommend this book to someone a little younger despite the quite serious first chapter. I also believe this should be in the category for 7-11 years and not 11-16. Overall I would give this book 3 stars as it wasn't targeted for my age group but it wasn't the worst book i have ever read.
