When I was reading rook I didn't have much to say about it. It was a very easy read with some good characters, but I did find that there wasn't much of a storyline. the main part in the story I found felt more like a sub plot. With this short book I found it was easy and I read it more like a diary.
The book didn't bring up many emotions. unlike normal books I felt it could of been more dramatic, more funny and more informative.
With being called Rook I thought there would be more about him whereas there was a page about him throughout the book and the ending wasn't much with the rook. Only saying he was ok.
Overall it was an ok book, an easy read, and a good story.
However I do realize this book was written specifically for dyslexic children with big text and a simple story.
