Lilymay Dawson, St Anselm's Readers

Rook

It is a mixed book. It includes illnesses and mental health that not very many writers mention. This is a gold thing as it spreads awareness of the schoolchildren who may be a bully because their worried or upset themselves. It also explains the confusing world of those who have to live people with disabilities and how different the world looks in their perspective. It also shows those who are the bully and those aren't. It is a bit of romance. There is some swearing. The young rook is attacked by a predator and is found by two brothers,Kenny and Nicky, one with mental disabilities, which is Kenny. Nicky is bullied at school about Kenny. Its a very good book and has an unsaid message within it.
