Salt to the Sea

I think that Salt to the Sea is quite a good book, the chapters had a individual perspective and that made the book more interesting, as well as we got to see how these peoples lives all linked up at the end.I loved Emilia and Florian and how the two characters met in the middle of the book as well as how they got there.Even with the language barrier they ended up being great friends at the end and so Florian ends up taking care of Emilia's baby.
However I didn't enjoy Alfred's chapters because they were quite repetitive, I didn't understand him he didn't have much of an interesting role in the book so in the end I actually ended up skipping his chapters.
