Saint Death is a compelling book that takes you on a journey with the main character, Arturo and his brother, Faustino.
This book is unique, because it doesn't portray characters as 'Good' and 'Evil'. Not everything is black and white, and we can see that when the reader experiences Arturo's dream. He clearly has his own demons, but tries to suppress them.
Another thing I also love is that the ending isn't necessarily a 'Happy' ending.
Throughout the book, we see many sides of the story told in arguments, or tense situations within Arturo's family.
In conclusion, Sedgwick has created a masterpiece of a book, that discusses power and conflict.
I would rate this book 5/5, for discussing real issues, and immersing the reader within the neighbourhood of Anapra.
