The Bone Sparrow

This was the first of the carnegie books that I read and it was a great one. I admit that i wasn't expecting it! Some friends who had previously read the book had said that it was about people in refugee camps and the story was about a boy who lived in one of these camps. I thought it would be quite a depressing book, but apart from a few sections of it, the main character, Subhi, is quite ignorant of the whole situation.
The thing i love about it is that the story is more about the relationship between him and a mysterious girl that he meets, than the problems for the refugee camp.

It was an amazing read! Please write more Zana!
