Wed Wabbit

Wed Wabbit, is a fascinating book, that looks a bit childish, but when you read it it is actually very good, and has lots of interesting adventures. What I liked about this book was that it had lots of unexpected outcomes, or troubles that the character have to face. The contrast between a little girl's imaginary world and the challenges that seem a bit out of place from their difficulty, or that the punishments are what the little girl would not want to do were funny, like cleaning tables. I believe this was very clever and made the story more interesting. I think that the title, and cover of the book were a bit disappointing, because to anyone who had not been recommended the book, it would seem childish and they would not want to read it. It could also have the opposite effect, making a younger child want to read it and then find it difficult to understand. I would recommend this book to children between 8 and 13 as it has childish aspects but is actually clever and a great read. I would rate it 8/10 for its unique contrast.
