Arthur, London Oratory School

Where the World Ends

This is a brilliant book set in the 18th century when a group of boys and men are sent from Saint Kilda(an island off the coast of Scotland)to the Warrior Stac to collect oil, bird meat and bird feathers. However the three weeks turns into four and then five to the point where they believe the world has ended and they were stranded. A fantastic book full of humour and adventure. It is very engaging and very well written. Recommended for teenagers as there are mild sex references. A very enjoyable read and I think it is a good contender for the Carnegie Medal.
