The Hate U Give

The Hate U Give is certainly the most gripping and empowering book I have ever read. I was never bored while reading the book as I constantly wanted to know about Starr's traumatic life, split between the hood, Garden Heights, and bthe Suburbs, Williamson. Many political views were questioned in the book, such as if Office "115" shoild be arrested for shooting one of Starr's best friends, Khalil, who was forced into drug dealing, and how Starr was going out with a more fortunate white boy, Chris. It was an emotional rollercoaster full with engaging twists and turns, which is what the perfect book should be
