Wed Wabbit

I'm not going to lie, this book's title and front cover misled me completely. It's not a kid's book, it's a book for people that fantasise a lot and are adventurous. It references itself a lot in the book as well, referring to things that happened before. For example, at the start, the main character, Fidge, is reading to her sister and purposely mispronounces a word. At the end she mispronounces the same word, bringing in a line from the past.

The only thing I didn't like was the way they defeated Wed Wabbit. He was a rabbit that overruled a kingdom and the way they took him down was discipline and a hug. Sounds to me as if Wed Wabbit is as big a baby as his owner.

But I shouldn't diss it too hard. It satisfied me way more than it unsatisfied, and for that I give Wed Wabbit my praise. Well played, Lissa Evans, well played.
