Where the World Ends

I wasn't too keen on the book but I liked how there was something going on at all times so it never got boring. I would not have picked the book to read however it was really well written and you empathized with the characters. The book was based on a true story and at the end of it, you genuinely felt sorry for the characters. It was interesting to see how much a role religion played in society and the book was mainly based around that. Sometimes, I found it hard to understand the old English and what they meant but I soon caught on and understood it more and more. I would recommend this book as you learn a lot about how people lived their lives in the 1700s.
