Niamh, St Helen and St Katharine
Wed Wabbit was both heart-warming and a little creepy at the same time. I loved how the main characters (Fidge and Graham) change throughout the book and how they all see how easy it is to make friends. I did, however, find the start creepy especially as I read it at night- I couldn’t sleep for hours, all I could picture was the creepy sewn-on face! It was very readable and I loved how real the characters seemed; they were not perfect heroes – they were real people who got scared and angry and frustrated. Another great thing was the important message about strength of character and individuality throughout the story. The rhymes were great too – very clever!
