Isabella, St Helen and St Katharine

Where the World Ends

I found 'Where the world ends' quite interesting, because it's not the sort of thing I would normally read, so it was very unusual for me. The style of this book was based on a true story, and it was quite gritty and it was a bit like real life. I quite enjoyed it, but in some places it was a bit gruesome for me to really enjoy. The characters were life-like, but it was set in a different culture (Scotland), and so the characters acted differently to what I would expect them to.

At the end of the book it had a bit of a surprise about whether it was told in the third, second, or first person, so I quite enjoyed that twist at the end.
