Isabella, St Helen and St Katharine

Wed Wabbit

Minnie, the four-year old sister of Fidge, is obsessed with Wimbley woos. Minnie has many soft, cuddly toys, which she loves to play with, but her all time favourite toy has to be Wed Wabbit. Wed Wabbit is a red coloured rabbit, but he always smirks at Fidge, and gives her an eerie look. Fidge really doesn’t like Wed Wabbit!

When Minnie gets hit by a car, because of Fidge and her silly actions, Minnie is rushed to hospital in an ambulance immediately. Fidge is sent to stay with her annoying cousin Graham, while Minnie recovers. Suddenly a huge storm hits and there is a flash of lightening.
Fidge, Graham and some odd friends are plunged into another world. This is Fidge’s idea of a nightmare.

To get out, they need to defeat a dictator that can’t say the letter ‘r’, and solve many riddles and clues to help them on their adventure.
In the end, the only thing that will get them all out of this mess is team work, bravery and a whole lot of skill.

Will Fidge, Graham and the others manage to escape, or will they be stuck in this strange world forever?

This book, Wed Wabbit, by Lissa Evans, is a creative and imaginative book. Lissa makes a land which is vivid, and colourful, and she describes each characters changes throughout the book, incredibly well. I would really recommend this book as it is witty and cleverly made. People who like reading adventurous and funny stories would really love this book. Wed Wabbit is an easy and inventive book, and I have loved reading this.

I would rate this book 10/10, as it is always amusing, never boring, and it is fast moving. This book creates a good sense of mystery, and longing to find out what will happen next. I would truly recommend this book.
