The Bone Sparrow
The Bone Sparrow was not an easy book to follow completely, even for me. The language was rich with professionalism on its own, despite the emotions behind the story. I wasn't 100% sure what was going on, and it didn't grip my interest as much as books such as Railhead did, however what I do know is that this story was beautifully special. I, a person with the ambition to be an author, would most likely not have thought of something like this. A replacement of a sign of death as a sign of luck is a fresh, new idea, not following the generic baseline of some stories. I found the contrast of pain and joy to be quite interesting, with even the shortest of chapters (one was a single side, crazy right?) leaving me drenched in suspense. I enjoyed reading this book, even if it was hard to process.
