Beyond the Bright Sea

I am so happy that I chose this book to read a this book is amazing. I would recommend this book to everyone as I think that most people will enjoy it.

This book is about a 12 year old girl called Crow that wants to find out more about who she is and where she really came from. She wants to know why everyone on the Island of Cuttyhunk stays away from her apart from Osh and Miss Maggie and she really wants to know why her parents abandoned her.

Crow is a very curious child that has questions for almost everything, until there is a fire on one of the other Islands which makes her curiosity about her life grow even more.

There are many connections in this book for example Crow has a birthmark in the shape of a feather which links back to the front cover which happens to have an image of a feather in the sea.

When Crow sees the fire on Penikese Island Osh and Miss Maggie decide to help Crow find out more about her family. Whilst on the Penikese Island Crow finds out some things about her life that she didn't know. For instance she finds out that her parents had died and she may have a brother! Its events like this in the book which make the reader interested and what makes this book fascinating.
