Salt to the Sea

I really liked this book, the way it sets the scenes and the way it got you so attached to a character. I think it was very realistic and I think the author has spent a long time researching it. If there was one main thing I would change about the book I would make the ending longer and easier to understand because I think it ended to quickly, also I think in the Alfred chapters he moaned too much and most of them didn’t really make sense. Although I think the way the author did the chapters from different peoples point of view was a really good. I would recommend the book to everyone even though it is heart breaking at times.
