Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

"Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth is" is quite a childish book but, a very enjoyable read. It is about a child called Prez who is from the 'Temporary'. Prez usually goes and stays with his Grandpa but, instead he goes and stays with a family who live on a farm. Whilst he is there Sputnik, who is an alien comes to visit, except he is seen as a dog by everyone else other than Prez. Their aim is to save the world from being destroyed.

Sputnik is my favorite character because, everything that seems stupid to humans he finds natural. For example, he is obsessed with the fact you should read instructions on everything no matter what it is. He is also quite cocky and doesn't really care about any rules or anything Prez tells him. Prez and Sputnik also have a very special bond because, Prez doesn't talk but, they communicate to each other by thought. Whatever Prez says in his head, Sputnik can hear but no one else can so they can communicate with no one knowing.

I recommend this book to anyone as it is a easy, enjoyable book and very imaginative. I give it 4 and a half stars out of 5. I think if it had more of a main plot to it, it would be even better but, having that may change the book drastically.
