The Smell of Other People's Houses

'The Smell of Other People's Houses' is about 4 Alaskan teenagers all dealing with their own issues. When all their lives are intertwined will anything be the same again? The harsh setting of Alaska impacts greatly on the story and it talks about how brutal life can be when where you live is isolated. I liked two of the main characters, Alyce and Hank, but hated Ruth and Dora. I felt like Ruth and Dora were boring and didn't quite fit being in the story. However, I really enjoyed reading about the adventures that were had by Alyce and Hank. 6/10, probably would recommend.
