Salt to the Sea

'Salt to the Sea' is set during World War 2 and tells the different stories of four refugees trying to escape the war in Germany but the only way is through an ocean liner that is set to never reach its destination, as we learn it tragically sinks. I found it interesting that the book was based on a real event.

I liked this book, as it is told the story from multiple points of view instead of just one. There were bits in this book that were really interesting like the struggles the refugees experienced hiding and keeping out of sight whilst travelling to the port. There were some bits that were difficult to understand but overall I really enjoyed this book and I strongly recommend it.

My favourite thing in the book, as I mentioned earlier in the review, is that it is unique in its own way by showing multiple points of view.
